Our winemaking philosophy and the techniques we employ at Blue Door follow a straightforward approach – keep it as simple and as natural as possible, then always fill it with passion and commitment.
Yes, we seek out exceptional fruit and yes, we use natural fining techniques whenever we can. Of course we scrutinize every barrel our wine goes into and without exception we don’t bottle and pour a wine we’re not proud of. But just be prepared when talking acids and tannins with us, that the conversation is going to come with a sizable pinch of wonder and romance. That’s just who we are.
Blue Door is about passion and pride. We’re damn proud of our wine, our art, our effort, and it shows in everything we do, right down to the smallest detail.
